2024 Thanksgiving Menu and Meal Prep Timeline

* image These past few months have been busy for our family, especially since our oldest joined a local swim team. Between juggling our work schedules and balancing school with practices... we're all pretty wiped out. Although it's a lot of work, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. Preparing the holiday meal for our family fills my heart with joy, and I can't wait to get started. To make things easier for me, I don't deviate much from  our first Thanksgiving  as a family. The dishes I make are familiar ones, and the recipes for them live at my fingertips. Keeping the same menu year after year means I don't have to spend time researching recipes or planning a new one. Here are my tried-and-true Thanksgiving recipes, as well as my prep timeline for the big day!

No, I'm Not in Atlanta

BHF11PP

I'm in New York. At my desk at work. And it's business as usual. Actually, it's not. Since it's Friday, I get to wear jeans today. (Holy hotness, can you stand it?)

Food bloggers from all over are descending upon the great city of Atlanta right now for BlogHer Food '11. And they're really, really happy to be there! I'm not kidding. The attendees are already tweeting like crazy about it.

Me? I'm settling in for the BHF11PP.

Am I jealous of the BlogHer Food attendees? Absolutely. Maybe. But you know what?

They should be jealous of me.

Why?

Because I plan to spend a good portion of my day processing expense reports. Just me and piles and piles of credit card statements, receipts, and my trusty calculator. The best part? I don't have to worry about being touched inappropriately by the TSA or getting on an airplane to get full access to that excitement. It was waiting for me when I got into the office this morning.
