Sharing our Menu Plan for March 9 - March 15, 2014.
There may still be snow on the ground, but spring is definitely in the air, you guys. I can feel it! And, thanks to my amazing husband, we now have a little bit of spring on full display in our living room. Stephen came home from a business trip on Friday with three gorgeous bunches of yellow tulips, and I'm simply mesmerized by them.
Well done, Stephen. Well done.
This week's
Menu Plan post is coming straight to you from somewhere in New Jersey. You see, I'm currently on the bus to New York to meet up with some girlfriends for dinner, and I thought I'd take advantage of the time and free WiFi and stick to my blogging schedule. It's been well over a year since I've blogged from the bus, and in a weird, sick and twisted way, I sort of miss it.
If we wind up getting stuck in traffic when approaching the tunnel, though, I'm sure all of my feelings of nostalgia and memories of commuting into the city every day will disappear into thin air, and I'll be grateful all over again that I no longer have to put myself through the exhausting act of commuting on the bus!
While I sit as patiently as possible in excited anticipation of my reunion with my friends, why don't you have a look at our
Menu Plan for the week?
Menu Plan: March 9 - March 15, 2014
Sunday: Dinner in New York
Monday: Work Event
I fully intend on eating as much as I can get away with at Monday's work event. Just giving everyone fair warning.
Tuesday:
Bucatini with Butter Roasted Tomato Sauce from Alexandra's Kitchen
Wednesday: Stephen's Choice
Thursday: Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avocado Sandwiches
Stephen will be traveling for work again, so I'm trying to go easy on myself in the cooking department. I wouldn't be surprised if I scrapped the idea of cooking altogether in favor for take-out from our favorite sushi place.
Friday: Pizza with Spinach and Ricotta
Saturday: St. Patrick's Day Party at Friends' House
