Sharing our Menu Plan for September 28 - October 4, 2014
This past week has been full of ups and downs, and it's times like these that make me realize, once again, that I have an amazing support system made up of loving family members and friends who are always willing to share the successes and encourage me through the disappointments. While I make it a habit to say thank-you when I'm in the moment, I'm trying to be better about taking the time to sit down and write a proper thank-you note when the occasion demands it. In my opinion, it's always a good idea to let your loved ones know how much you appreciate them and the things they do for you.
In the spirit of saying thank-you, I want to take a minute to thank my
awesome group of
Taste As You Go followers on Facebook. They contribute meaningfully to the posts I share and are always willing to offer their honest opinions, and I
truly appreciate that. Having a solid connection with my readers and followers means a lot to me, and knowing that connection is there helps me work through my blogging ruts, which have been occurring more and more these days.
Thank you for sticking with me and for continuing to be a presence in my world even when I've had to take intermittent breaks from blogging.

Sunday: Dinner with Friends
Monday: Fish Sticks with Rice and Buttered Peas
Because, sometimes, you just have to have a meal that reminds you of your childhood and of the times when life was simpler.
Tuesday: Dinner with Family
Wednesday: Stephen's Choice
Thursday: Shepherd's Pie with Mushroom Gravy
Friday: Whole Wheat Pizza with Broccoli and Caramelized Onions
Saturday: Leftovers / Take-Out
