You'd think that baking would be the last thing I want to do coming off the holiday season, but the truth of the matter is -- I WANT TO BAKE ALL THE THINGS. I love the idea of spending the entire day in a warm kitchen baking one loaf of quick bread after another.
Being in the warm kitchen would help me keep my mind off of how utterly frigid it is outside. And, well, let's face it... Just the
smell of something homemade baking in the oven is enough to tempt me to make a huge mess, filling every inch of available counter space with bowls and measuring cups and a light dusting of flour and spices.
