2024 Thanksgiving Menu and Meal Prep Timeline

* image These past few months have been busy for our family, especially since our oldest joined a local swim team. Between juggling our work schedules and balancing school with practices... we're all pretty wiped out. Although it's a lot of work, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. Preparing the holiday meal for our family fills my heart with joy, and I can't wait to get started. To make things easier for me, I don't deviate much from  our first Thanksgiving  as a family. The dishes I make are familiar ones, and the recipes for them live at my fingertips. Keeping the same menu year after year means I don't have to spend time researching recipes or planning a new one. Here are my tried-and-true Thanksgiving recipes, as well as my prep timeline for the big day!

Wish List: Pottery Barn Picks

Catching up on catalog reading means adding more items to my ever-growing wish list.

Catalogs. I've been sort of obsessed with them ever since I was a little girl. My best friend and I used to spend full afternoons flipping through our mothers' Sears catalogs, dog-earring pages and making note of the items we'd buy if we had all the money in the world. And, well, what kid didn't love flipping through Sears Christmas Wish Book as soon as it arrived in the mail?

Even though I'm an adult now, I still play that game whenever a new catalog shows up in our mailbox. I slowly turn the pages, inspect each item, and think about how I'd incorporate my favorites into our home or our lifestyle. Because it's fun to daydream every now and then, no matter what your age.

Quite a few catalogs have piled up since Caroline was born, so I thought I'd devote this blog post to sharing the items in the most recent Pottery Barn catalogs that have caught my eye. Keep reading to see which products that I've marked for "someday"!
