2024 Thanksgiving Menu and Meal Prep Timeline

* image These past few months have been busy for our family, especially since our oldest joined a local swim team. Between juggling our work schedules and balancing school with practices... we're all pretty wiped out. Although it's a lot of work, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. Preparing the holiday meal for our family fills my heart with joy, and I can't wait to get started. To make things easier for me, I don't deviate much from  our first Thanksgiving  as a family. The dishes I make are familiar ones, and the recipes for them live at my fingertips. Keeping the same menu year after year means I don't have to spend time researching recipes or planning a new one. Here are my tried-and-true Thanksgiving recipes, as well as my prep timeline for the big day!

Menu Plan: May 31 - June 6

Sharing our Menu Plan for May 31 - June 6, 2015

I know, I know. I've been talking about the baby a lot lately. Besides finding her beyond adorable, I think I'm so focused on her because I find her fascinating. I love watching her become more aware of the world around her.

Unfortunately, not everyone in the house is bubbling with joy and happiness. Seemingly overnight, Montclair has forgotten that he's okay with the presence of a baby in our lives. He's exhibiting signs of jealousy again, including choosing to relieve himself in various corners of the house rather than outside.

It's been frustrating to me, especially since I've been solo-parenting while Stephen's been traveling for work. I want to give the baby and the furbaby my attention, but I can only do so much without running myself into the ground. I know I should be spending more time with Monty... I just don't know where it's going to come from. Unless, of course, I stop sleeping altogether.

If anyone has any suggestions that will help convince the dog to stop pooping in the house, then please share. I don't want him to get used to this behavior. Hopefully, we're not too far from a solution...

In the meantime, let's talk about something I can control -- this week's menu plan. To see what's on deck for dinner for us this week, then keep reading!
