Hello, weekend. 👋🏽

We made it.

My husband is traveling for work again this weekend... and when that happens, the kids and I keep Pizza Night super simple.

Rather than make homemade pizza, I put a frozen pie in the oven to bake while we start a movie. Then we eat our dinner while watching the end of the movie. It's turned into a fun tradition that we all look forward to.

This weekend is a little different, though. I have to work tomorrow, so the kids will spend the day with my parents and then have an overnight adventure at their house. For the first time in a LONG time, I'll have the house to myself. 🙌🏽

To be honest, I don't know what to do with myself. I'll get take-out, for sure... but I'm torn between doing housework and binge-watching ANTM. 

While I mull over my choices some more, here's a new batch of [long overdue] Tidbits for you to read when you find the time.

  1. After trying a bunch of different daily news digest services, I'm back with this one. I've found it's well-rounded enough that I can keep tabs on multiple news stories covering a variety of topics.

  3. A while ago, I bought the kids new lightweight raincoats, this one for our daughter and this one for our son. And while I was at it... I bought this one for myself. 😉

  4. How many of you shop at Old Navy? 🙋🏽‍♀️ How many of you feel frustrated when you can't take advantage of all the Super Cash you've earned? Well... now you can convert unused Super Cash to points!

  5. I am in love with my new puff sleeve sweatshirt tee. I have this one in rose.

  6. I finally replaced our towels with these organic cotton towels. They're so soft and just get softer with each wash!

  7. I recently finished this book and am working on this one now.

  8. I'm using these bins to organize our chest freezer. See how here!

  9. Our daughter recently wrapped up an afterschool session called Outdoor Arts. I think she'd love a project like this.
