My time off from work is coming to an end, and I go back to the office tomorrow.

While the break wasn't ideal, I'm grateful I was able to take so much time off so our family could have time together.

I'm also grateful for the time to get things DONE... like painting some of the rooms downstairs... and, with the kids' help, weeding out toys, books, and clothes to donate.

We also continued our tradition of finding our Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving... and I finished our holiday shopping and started decorating the house. The next few weeks are going to fly, so I wanted to get as much done ahead of time as possible.

While I finish up a few more things before heading to bed, here's our menu plan for the week. If you're curious to see what's on deck for dinner at our house, then keep reading!

A Week of Dinners: November 27 - December 3

  • Sunday: Elbows with Meat Sauce

  • MondayBroiled Salmon with Peas and Parmesan Couscous

  • Tuesday: Fish Sticks with White Rice and Buttered Peas

    Because it's all about balance.

  • Wednesday: Leftovers

  • Thursday: Stephen's Choice

  • Friday: Pizza with Italian Sausage and Caramelized Onions

  • Saturday: Dinner Out / Take Out

    We have plans with friends we haven't seen in years, and I. CAN'T. WAIT.

Since we're all transitioning back to our normal routine this week, I've planned relatively easy meals for dinner. This means I don't have to do much cooking ahead of time.
