If you read this week's menu plan post, then you saw that I admitted to falling into a familiar rut. Most of my recent blog posts have been menu plan posts.
I'm determined to break that cycle today by sharing my Mother's Day Gift Guide. It's been a few years since I've put together a gift guide for Mother's Day (here's the last one I shared), so I'm excited to dive into it.
May is the Month of Mom in our family since we celebrate my birthday and Mother's Day next month. I've heard the kids whispering already as they plan their homemade gifts. But it never hurts to give them some additional suggestions... right? 😉
Now that we've had the interior rooms of our new house painted, I've turned my attention to furnishings and decor. This pitcher would look fantastic in the study, especially with fresh blooms in it.
This book includes prompts that make it really simple for kids to create a personalized and meaningful keepsake. They can fill the book with favorite memories and shared experiences that will remind mom just how much she means to the family.
I'm ready to bring some more houseplants into our home. This one is pet-friendly and relatively low maintenance, so I think I stand a good chance of keeping it alive.
I'd also be okay with this one.
Do you know what I love about this tote? It's lightweight, reversible, and machine-washable. It's large enough to carry everything. And, if I must throw some of the kids' things in there, there's room for that, too.
This tote would work as an everyday bag but is stylish enough for work. Especially if it had this wristlet tucked inside.
Now that I'm in my 40s, I want to concentrate more on my physical health, especially my bone health. After consulting with my doctor, I want to incorporate more strength training exercises into my routine. Using the weights in this starter kit will be a good way to do that.
This cookbook has been on my to-buy list since I heard that Ali was working on a new book. As you may remember, Friday is Pizza Night in our house, and I'm dying to get my hands on a copy of this book for some new Pizza Night inspiration.
Especially since Ali's first cookbook is a beloved resource in my kitchen.
Every mom deserves to travel in style. If you're looking to help upgrade her weekender bag, then consider this one. It has plenty of room and features a main compartment as well as a zippered compartment on the bottom. The bottom compartment is the perfect spot to pack your shoes or keep any dirty clothes separate from the clean ones.
Full Disclosure: The brand provided me with one of these duffle bags as part of a collaboration. I will be sharing a blog post with more thoughts about the bag soon, so stay tuned!
Am I the only one who gets super anxious when their phone battery dips below 50%? Having this portable charger in my bag would help keep that anxiety to a minimum!
As Mother's Day approaches, I've, naturally, been thinking of my own mom a lot more. One of the memories that keeps popping into my head is of her going into the cabinet above the kitchen counter to pull out her trusty book containing family birthdays, anniversaries, and other special days to remember. The book also had pockets for greeting cards, and she always had cards on hand to avoid running to the store at the last minute.
Growing up, I knew I wanted a similar system in my house. I use this greeting card organizer to keep cards easily accessible and add cards to my collection here and there to make sure each of the categories are covered.
I'm always looking for ways to streamline areas of my life, especially since I'm in charge of maintaining the family calendar. As much as I rely on my physical bullet journals to keep track of my personal schedule and to-do lists, I love the idea of using this digital calendar to help manage the household.
I could see myself wearing this top so many different ways.

And I've never found a navy-and-white striped top that I didn't love. Like this one.
